COVID Response

Cornerstone Schools is closely monitoring news and information related to the global COVID outbreak. We are mindful of our imperative to keep our community safe while continuing to encourage, develop, and education our future generations.

Deemed as an essential service by Governor Kemp, Cornerstone has remained open throught the COVID outbreak, and is proud to provide a safe, education, and enjoyable experience for kids of first responders, medical professionals, other essential service professionals.

Our staff and our facility are following all recommended guidelines and meeting the highest standards for safety.

Summer camp precautions (in effect now):

  • Small group sizes
  • Staff and kid temperatures taken daily
  • Staff and kid screening before entry into building
  • Parent and visitors are not allowed into the building
  • Rooms will be disinfected several times a day
  • Staff and kids will wash hands and use sanitizer throughout the day

Precautions for 2021-22 School year:

  • In-person/In-Class learning
  • Class sizes limited to 12
  • Desk spread out for appropriate social distancing
  • Staff and kid temperatures taken daily
  • Varying class schedules to reduce student interactions
  • Extracuircular activites limited/modified to reduce interaction and support distancing
  • Staff, parent, and student screening before entry into building
  • Parent and visitors have limited access to the school
  • Rooms will be disinfected several times a day
  • Staff and students will wash hands and use sanitizer throughout the day
  • Online / Remote learning available if the situation warrants
