Focus on Core Curriculum

In Kindergarten through 5th grade, we believe that mastering reading, writing and mathematics, and developing independence, creative thinking and personal responsibility skills are critical for future success. All students are given the opportunities and choices to meet or exceed these goals.

Our program is designed to meet the needs of every child. Our environment is such that it enhances learning. We offer small class sizes, daily individualized instruction, carpeted classrooms and hallways for noise control and skylights that provide natural lighting.

  • Along with our core curriculum of math, language arts, science and social studies, students participate in art, music, Spanish, physical education, library, technology, field trips, drama and more.
  • We feel that recess is very important for our students, therefore we provide two recess periods a day on one of our three shaded playgrounds.
